Broken

When something is broken, it can either be repaired or discarded permanently.
You inspect the object and assess the damage.
Then you determine whether it can still be saved.

Look at this badminton racket. A wrong swing has deformed it.
At first glance, you'll know, it cannot be fixed anymore.
Best thing to do? Replace it with a new one.

When trust is broken, it cannot easily be repaired.
Nor can it be thrown away and replaced with something new.
It takes time to build trust.
It is earned.

A broken one might take years to mend.
There's even a chance that you cannot get it back anymore.
Don't make that mistake.
Cherish and handle it with care.
