These are the cute characters from the movie Monsters vs Aliens. Yohan got them from McDonald's Happy Meal.

We watched the movie two weeks ago. It's a funny movie perfect for the whole family. The story is about a girl named Susan who comes into direct contact with a falling meteor. The meteor contains a substance that transforms Susan into a 47 foot giant woman on the day of her wedding. The government comes to take her away and she is placed in a secret holding facility with other monsters hidden by the government from the public eye. Susan is given a monster name, Ginormica. When Earth is threatened by an alien robot, the government puts the aliens in the front line to battle with the robots and the evil Gallaxhar.

Easter Egg Hunt

Hope you had a wonderful Easter celebration. My SIL and I prepared an Easter egg hunt for the kids. I bought half a dozen of oversized plastic Easter eggs and stuffed them with small toys and sweet treats. My SIL prepared 4 trays (40 eggs in total) of small plastic Easter eggs with ready made treats inside. The eggs were hidden all around my MIL's lawn and the kids had fun searching for them. Yohan's youngest cousin, Sofie was the first one to find the first Easter egg. Below are some photos of the fun Easter egg hunt.

Lenten Season

Hi friends. I'm sorry I haven't returned your visits lately. I will make it up to you soon. I will be taking a day off from blogging. I won't be able to join this week's Aloha Friday and Photo Hunt. I will be back on Easter.

A Nice Reunion With Mommy Bloggers

Last Year (March 2008)

Last March 1, 2008, I met Raq and her beautiful family for the first time while they were on vacation in the Philippines. We had dinner at Burgoo (Podium) with other mommy bloggers.

This Year (April 2009)

Raq is back in the country and last Tuesday evening was a perfect opportunity for a nice reunion with other mommy bloggers. The get together was held in the very same place as last year. It was a fun and memorable evening with friends. We missed some of the people from last year but it's nice to meet new friends. I'm very happy to meet Annamanila in person. It was also a pleasure to meet Aileen for the first time.

Pet Society on Facebook

In the world of Pet Society you and your pet can have a great time! You can play games, decorate your house and even bring gifts for your friends when you visit them.

I love playing Pet Society on Facebook. Thank you to Ichigo (Toni's pet) for the invitation to join the community. I would like to introduce to you my pet. Her name is Anya. She started with a humble home. Now she has three rooms and it's still expanding.

Anya owes a lot to her generous friend Missy (Noemi's pet). She gave Anya a lot of furniture, clothes and cool things around the house. Anya felt as if she won the lottery when she received so many great gifts from Missy.

Below are screen shots of Anya's home. Check out Anya's cute Easter outfit. If you look closer, you can see she's wearing bunny shoes. :)

The chandelier makes this part of the room very elegant.

Sweet Secrets

Before anything else, I would like to thank everyone who greeted me Happy Birthday last week. I appreciate your warm greetings.

Part II: After my birthday dinner at Big 30 Pizza, Pasta and Steak, we decided to check the other places around Paseo Sta. Rosa. We found this cute bakeshop cafe called Babycakes.

We weren't able to take advantage of their Super Sale because we went there on a Sunday.

The bakeshop cafe has a nice and cozy ambiance.

They have delicious mini cakes to choose from.


They also accept made to order cakes for special occasions.
