Sunday Spent with Friends

Enjoyed a nice Sunday lunch at Califonia Pizza Kitchen (CPK) with my college friends, Chinie, Shawee, Chary and our respective families. Sadly, Jane couldn't make it because she's still in Hong Kong.

We all enjoyed a variety of pasta, pizzas and salads. I ordered grilled chicken from the kid's menu for Yohan but he didn't like it so I asked Jules to buy Chickenjoy at Jollibee instead. He ate it at CPK. Kids can sometimes be picky eaters and prefer to eat the food that they are familiar with. Yohan is at that stage.

It was our group's pre-Christmas get together. We anticipated that it might be harder to set a common schedule for next month because of the Christmas season so we decided to have an early one this year. We exchanged gifts for the kids.

Chinie shared a good news with us today. She's 14 weeks pregnant with her second child. How wonderful!

I was surprised to see how Raeka has grown. She's a very cute and charming little girl.

Chary was very late 'coz she had an emergency duty at the hospital. She had to assist in a delivery of a baby. Good thing, she still made it to our lunch date.
It's always wonderful to see old friends. Even though we don't see each other as often as we could, our friendship doesn't change. Whenever we find time to see one another, we spend it catching up with each other's lives.

Our next get together will probably be some time next year in line with Chinie's baby shower.
