My son has been waiting for this movie for months. He was thrilled to finally watch it last Friday. I think it was worth the wait. We all enjoyed watching WALL-E. Amazing how true friendship can go beyond any border or galaxy for that matter.

I found the perfect subject for this week's theme when we went to the mall yesterday. I saw this colorful cotton candy and snow cone kiosk. There were ready made cotton candy wrapped in plastic but you can order a new one if you like. You can choose the flavor from the colorful plastic canisters filled with flavored cotton candy crystal powders. The multi-colored bottles contain the liquid flavor for the snow cones.


Yohan chose mango flavored snow cone (you can either put it on a cone or plastic cup with a straw) and his Dad chose raspberry. I had to pass because I still have cough. Hubby bought assorted cotton candy that he shared with Yohan.

I personally enjoy mocha frappuccino. I found this recipe online and my husband often makes me a nice mug of frappuccino at home. It is very easy to do. All you need are the following ingredients:
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/3 cup strong coffee
1 cup ice

In a blender, just combine all the ingredients except the ice. Then blend the ingredients until the sugar has dissolved. After that, add the ice and blend until smooth. You may add more ice when needed. Pour the contents in your favourite mug or glass and enjoy. I love my frappuccino with a slice of blueberry cheesecake or carrot cake.

I just received the results of my son's final exams for the first quarter. It was posted on his notebook by his teacher. I'm very happy because all of his exams are perfect.
