Yohanism #33 - Yohan in Prep
My son is now in Prep. It warms my heart to see him grow up. Here's a photo of Yohan in his uniform which I took yesterday before the school service picked him up from the house. He said good bye to his back pack and started using his big school bag with wheels. He now has more subjects in school so he needs a bigger bag to carry his books and notebooks.
This year, the school changed the boys' uniform for preschool. It used to be plain blue shorts. Now it's checkered shorts, similar to the girls' skirt.
This is the second week of school. The house still feels unusually quiet and lonely in the morning when my son is in school. I'm always eager to welcome him home when he arrives.
It's funny because there was a time I must have kissed him a hundred times when he arrived from school because he told me,"Mom that is enough kisses for the day." Ha ha!
haha... cute! growing boy na talaga... ayaw na ng madaming kisses. :D
ReplyDeleteHe's such a big boy! I thought he was in gradeschool na.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a funny Yohanism! LOL!
Awww, Yohan, I hope it is still ok for mom to kiss you, don't grow up to fast :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean with unusually quiet and lonely - felt that too during the first two days. Nakakamiss din pala ang chatter nila no? I hugged my girls tightly too on that first day I picked them up from school.
ReplyDeleteYohan's such a big boy na!
I can imagine the hundred kisses. That's cute!
ReplyDeletemy mom used to do that to me when i was a kid. it simply means he's now a growing boy. hehehe
ReplyDeletenaco, how did he feel wearing his uniform? ang baby natin di sanay mag-shorts kse di ba? i'm sure mas makinis ang legs nya sa legs ko. hahaha.
ReplyDeletebig boy na nga! where is he studying? my daughter is also in prep na.. i cant believe it!
ReplyDeleteKids grow up very fast. Take the time to enjoy them while they are young. :)
ReplyDeleteBefore you know, he will be in high school.

ReplyDeleteHope he has fun in school. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Rach. Enjoy this time. I remember when my youngest got into the "big" school, he'd look around first before I could kiss him goodbye in school. Of course this did not stop me.
ReplyDeletePrep pa lang? Wow, Yohan is tall for Prep and he is so intelligent, I thought he was Grade 2 or 4 or something :) kakatuwa...
ReplyDeletewow he's all set for school. i like that plaid short as uniform.

ReplyDeleteToo early for the empty nest syndrome! :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you need one more Yohan or Yohanna. But another one is coming up, di ba?
All best Rach.
Yohan is growing up fast! :)
ReplyDeleteit's time to give Yohan a little brother or sister so that the house will no longer be quiet when he's at school.

My son is also in prep. I still kiss him and hug him a lot. :) He'll always be his mama's boy.
ReplyDeleteoh, I love his comment! :D My sons never say so to me, hmmmm, likely 'cos I haven't kissed him enough.... :)
ReplyDeletewow Yohan............
ReplyDeleteyou looks so cute........laki mo na tingnan.

then tomorrow, he do it alone already.........
he's already a big boy indeed!
ReplyDeleteit's funny rach, but in a few years, maybe he won't let you kiss him anymore especially when his friends are around. you better take advantage of it now that he's much younger still. ^-^
congratulations on your little boy's latest milestone. i can feel how much you miss having him around the house.
ReplyDeleteWe're in the heat of our summer break right now. WOW, binatang-binata na si Yohan. More kisses to you, hahahah......
