Weekend Snapshot #29

Two weekends ago, we heard mass at Antipolo Church with my Dad and hubby's family. Going to the Cathedral of Antipolo every month of May is a tradition of my hubby's family. It is a big and lovely church which can accommodate about 5,000 people. You can see the image of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage above the main altar which is encased in glass.

After hearing mass Keats, my hubby's elder brother treated the whole family to a sumptuous lunch at Grilla in Greenhills.

Fish, roast pork, kang kong , diced tomatoes and green mango.

Crabs, shrimps and mussels.

Yohan's Mango Sago (mango and tapioca) treat.

After lunch, we went to Cartimar pet shop. Yohan had a terrific time seeing different kinds of pets for sale. He was fascinated with the puppies, kittens, fish, birds, rabbits, snakes, turtles and hamsters. Keats bought my hubby a pair of African love birds. Yohan named them Sammy (just like the crab he had before) and Michae (I think it's short of Michaela from the movie Transformers). I wasn't able to take a photo of the African love birds because they are still shy. They go inside their bird house when they hear some noise. I'm sure they will adjust soon.

Before going home, we stopped at Dayrit's for a snack. It's famous for their burgers and roast beef sandwiches.
