Photo Hunt :: Flexible

PSHunt
Come and join the hunt here.

Tikoy is one of our favorite delicacies that we eat during New Year celebrations (common New Year and also Chinese New Year). It is made of ground glutinous rice flour, wheat starch, lard, water, and sugar. It is sticky and has flexible consistency.

There are different flavors of Tikoy: Ube, Pandan, Corn and Strawberry. I have tried ube flavored tikoy and it's good although I still prefer the simple white tikoy.

Tikoy is a symbol of good luck. Its sticky characteristic is said to make the family close to one another that's why it is served to welcome the New Year.

** I'll be out the whole day. I'll visit you later in the evening. **
